Smelter Town Brewery’s mission is to represent the community of Clarkdale through a small-town vibe of good friends, good times, and great beer.

Smelter Town Brewery and the upstairs Park Hotel became a reality in 2018 when owners Craig and Becky Backus began remodeling the 100-year-old building. Craig developed an interest in the craft brewery world, and with the space provided, felt that a brewery would be just the thing to help bring Clarkdale’s downtown district back to life.

 

In the fall of 2020, Smelter Town Brewery opened up with expectations of doing exactly that.
